Improving Your Indoor Air Quality: Proven Solutions Available For Cleaner Air At Home.

Improving home indoor air quality (IAQ) is a less-than-obvious piece of the puzzle to keeping your family healthy.  COVID-19 has been the root cause of today’s heightened health concerns.  With skyrocketing numbers of cases here in Massachusetts, the risk of contaminated air entering your house is more prevalent and worrisome than ever and likely will last throughout 2021 as the vaccination process rolls out.
While you may have little control over the safety of air quality in many public spaces, you do have options to improve the air quality within your own homes.  Here at Central Cooling & Heating, we made it a point early in 2020 to evaluate and provide our customers with the most advanced technologies for home air purification.  Below we discuss two different HVAC system upgrades that have shown significant results in reducing virus, allergens, mold, and other microscopic particles – protecting your family from airborne illness.

iWave-R:
An extremely effective option, and a favorite of our staff, is the iWave-R.  This whole-home air purification system can be quickly installed within your heating (and/or air conditioning) system’s existing ductwork.  The iWave-R uses advanced technology that has been proven safe and effective at improving every cubic inch of air within the house.
What we love about the iWave-R system is that it reduces levels of almost everything we can think of: airborne and surface microbial, bacteria, viruses, mold, smoke, odors, VOC’s (which cause eye, nose, throat irritation, and headaches), and allergens like dust, pollen, dander and mold spores. The device is automatic, self-cleaning, maintenance-free, and has a three-year warranty.

Halo-LED:
Another excellent option for home purification is the Halo-LED air purifier.  This air purification system is easily inserted within your HVAC ductwork by a skilled technician and uses a process called bi-polar ionization to “scrub” the air of illnesses and pollution.  The system also has self-cleaning ionizers, and the catalyst can be regularly washed to maintain air purity.  While the Halo requires a little more maintenance, is it equal to the iWave-R in effectiveness and efficiency.  Outside of its essential functions, it runs quietly and has a seven-year limited warranty.  We are confident that you will be very pleased with the results your decision to have us install the Halo-LED into your HVAC system.

These incredibly powerful air purifiers provide immediate results once installed.
Be proactive in your decision to take control of your family’s health – any of these options are typically installed within a day and will greatly enhance the indoor air quality in your home.
